Joan Baez ~ SAD-EYED LADY OF THE LOWLANDS ~ Dylan. A redo is in the making. I asked and YouTube refuse to grant me another minute and a half for the song to finish. It`sa pity. I think this is one of Joan`s most expressive interpretation of a Dylan song. Hear the Dylan version, and then the Baez version. Hear Baez`s soaring soprano, her endurance and urgency she brings to the song cut short. Still her vocal range is displayed beautifully.
